Featuring debuts from emerging talents Carlo Lavagna and Adriano Valerio alongside veterans Gianni Zanasi, Gianfranco Pannone and Vincenzo Marra, the 16th annual Open Roads festival brings a diverse selection of contemporary Italian cinema to Lincoln Center. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of Ettore Scola's Ugly, Dirty, Bad which screens in a new digital restoration. In-person appearances by the filmmakers accompany a number of screenings.
