"KEIN MENSCH IST ILLEGAL"
- Street art, Kreuzberg
The big-hitters show up for Berlin — Ai Weiwei flanked the Konzerthaus with 14,000 life vests and Gianfranco Rosi delivered what may be, to date, the definitive portrait of the refugee crisis gripping Europe. Even Angela and George hung out.
Every good film is somehow political, and that was certainly the case this year. Elite studio pictures, art-house titles, the avant-garde and everything in between populated the scene at the world's biggest film festival which remains ever relevant for its sheer size and scope.
